One of Explor Andean’s products is Casa Salkantay Museo Restaurant, and in December 2019 it was awarded as one of the winners of the “Entrepreneurial Success 2019” prize for being a company with great innovative and creative potential that promotes cultural diffusion and environmental protection through its product.
Casa Salkantay: For the past 6 years, we have been exploring the Humantay Lagoon and the Rainbow Mountain, consolidating today our “FULL DAY TREKKING” service, based on the innovation of tourist routes and, above all, the quality of our services.
In addition, we have thematic restaurants — Casa Salkantay and Casa Ausangate — which have been recognized for their innovation and cultural contribution in these rural areas.
Casa Ausangate: Museum Restaurant located 10 minutes from the entrance bridge to Cusipata, in the Peasant Community of Tintinco, right by the road that leads to the Rainbow Mountain.
This new restaurant has a theme aligned with our first restaurant in Mollepata, where you will find:
- Outdoor Experience: a country house adapted in the countryside where you can enjoy the open air.
- Great Food: a pleasant gastronomic experience that highlights the traditional cuisine and local products of the area.
- Cultural Value: we show visitors the local culture of the Ayllu of Tintinco, as well as our site museum that will be implemented in the coming months.
