Tour Summary
The Maras, Moray and Salineras tour is undoubtedly one of the favorite circuits for travelers and lasts 5 hours approximately and is only 30 kilometers from the city of Cusco.
General Information
Travelers will be able to visit an impressive Inca building in the form of an amphitheater that may have been a center of agricultural experimentation, then the traditional village of Maras and las Salineras, an old salt mines where you can also buy this artisanal product made by the local farmers with extraction techniques that come from thousands of years ago.
This is one of the favorite tours by our travelers. The trip lasts approximately five hours very close to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Itinerary
We will pass by your hotel between 7:30 am – 8:30 am to head for the town of Chinchero where we can observe the work with alpaca wool to later visit Moray, an impressive and enigmatic place where circular terraces of more than 80 meters deep amaze researchers who try to build hypotheses to explain the functionality of this place.
Finally we will visit the viewpoint of the salt mines of Maras to be able to know the millenary technique of extraction of the salt, besides being able to buy various handmade products made with this pink salt.

Recommendations
- We recommend to carry suitable shoes for walks, since they will climb many steps.
